How to get to venue Location?

by car

From the North and East: Take the A3 to the Dernbacher Dreieck. Then join the A48 towards Koblenz. At the exit for Koblenz join the B9 in the direction of Koblenz. After about 4 km, take the exit Metternich, B 258. Continue in the direction of Metternich for a further 3 km. Then join the B 416 towards Güls. After a further 0.5 km, take the exit Metternich West, UNI and follow the signs. From the South and West: On the A61, take the exit Koblenz-Metternich. Turn left onto the highway towards Koblenz. After about 5 km, turn right on the B 258. About 1.5 km, join the B 416 towards Güls. After another 0.5 km, take the exit Metternich West, UNI and follow the signs. Frankfurt Airport: (distance: approximately 115 km) Terminal 1 is connected to a regional as well as to a inter-city train station. From the train stations there ia an hourly service to Koblenz. You will usually have to change trains in Mainz. The journey by train takes about 70 minutes. At the airport you will also find various car hire companies. By car your journey will take about 70 minutes. Cologne-Bonn Airport: (distance: approximately 100 km) The regional and mainline train station is located directly at the airport. The journey to Koblenz takes about 80 minutes. At the airport you will also find various car hire companies. By car your journey will take about an hour. Hahn Airport: (distance approximately 65 km) Frankfurt-Hahn Airport (about an hour's drive from Frankfurt and Koblenz) is mainly served by the airline Ryanair. At the airport you will find various car hire companies and there is also a regular shuttle bus to Koblenz.

For planning your travel, you can use the timetable provided by the Deutschen Bahn. From the train station to campus (to be updated) The two bus stops closest to the university's campus are Uni/Winninger Str. and Universität. From the central bus station (ZOB) at Koblenz main station the bus lines 3/13 (in direction Güls/Bisholder) and 4/14 (in direction Metternich Gewerbepark or in direction Rübenach Grabenstraße) offer regular service throughout the day.
